F5WC is the world’s largest 5-a-side tournament and the only global 5-a-side event. Founded in 2013, F5WC aims to provide a world-class, professional football experience to all players, aged 16 years+, from anywhere in the world.F5WC creates the unique opportunity for teams to live a dream and experience the pride of representing their country on a global stage at the annual world finals.F5WC seeks to promote international integration, using the game of football to bring people from countries across the globe together in celebration of the beautiful game to promote sportsmanship, healthy living and cultural exchange. It is the world’s largest 5-a-side tournament and the only global 5-a-side event.
The company is the local licensee of F5WC and as such it is mandated with promoting F5WC locally, coordinating qualifying games according to F5WC criteria and making sure that Botswana is well represented at the main event, World Cup. For the past 5 years, the qualifying games or say all activities has been held only in Gaborone but this year we bowed to pressure and wish to take F5WC to people through hosting qualifying games in various locations around the country. It is in this document that we share the anatomy of the whole project and we are interested in having partners to deliver the most exciting event.
